Allisha Dixon is a multi-award-winning educator who aims to aid the "whole child" in all capacities of life. In her several years in education, she has made strides while persevering, leaving a tremendous mark on hundreds of children in the Mississippi Delta. Whether professional or community-based, Mrs. Dixon's impact has powerfully molded the lives of numerous children in various capacities.
Although education is a grand part of her background, Mrs. Dixon loves mental health. Her love for counseling and mental health is so great that she has obtained two awards for her contributions from the Mississippi Counseling Association: Outstanding Contributor: School Counseling Community Service Award (2018) and New Counselor of the Year (2020). She has also obtained Woman of the Year (2020) for contributing to her local community. Mrs. Dixon holds three degrees from Alcorn State University and Delta State University which she holds with high esteem.
These degrees and accomplishments place Mrs. Dixon in a prime position to contribute to the boys and girls of Tunica County School District. However, she knows this is only possible with a team of support. She places great emphasis on her faith, beliefs, husband, and son as the cornerstone of her life. Overall, Mrs. Dixon is a hardworking and dedicated individual who always looks for ways to grow and improve. It is with great confidence and excitement to see where life takes her next!
