Counselor's Corner
Hello, my name is Ms. Donna Tippitt. I am starting my second year at Dundee Elementary and my 5th year as a Professional School Counselor. I am excited to be a part of the Dundee family/team. I was a stay-at-home mom before going back to school. I got my undergraduate degree of General Studies at the University of Mississippi and my Masters in Professional School Counseling at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. I grew up in Southaven, MS, and raised my 5 boys in Hernando, MS. Professional School counseling is a passion of mine because I genuinely care about people and their emotional state. I believe that a healthy mind makes a healthy person.
I currently live in Hernando with my dog Obi. I love spending time with my children who live from California to New York. I have 1 grandson, 4 granddaughters, and one more on the way that I enjoy spending time with. I enjoy watching and attending all sporting events, but I especially love my Ole Miss Rebels! I am looking forward to another successful school year. Dundee is an amazing school with wonderful teachers and students! This year we are “GOING FOR THE GOLD AS TEAM DUNDEE!!
My mission is to offer a comprehensive counseling program encompassing every student’s academic, career, social, and emotional needs. I am committed to providing a respectful, safe, and culturally sensitive environment to guide our students to have the skills to transition from elementary to middle school.
